The best way to get involved with the chapter is to join a committee. IMPI also has several committee chair positions open. If you are interested in joining or chairing a committee, please complete the IMPI Volunteer Interest form.

Education

Education

Responsibilities:
The Education Committee is responsible for planning and executing 9-10 monthly educational programs throughout the year.  The committee works together to create an 18 month educational plan that aligns with the CMP program.  The committee is responsible for speaker selection, venue selections, networking programs during registration and all logistics involved with the programs. 
Time Commitment: The committee meets once a month for two hours approximately two weeks before each luncheon.  Approximately one to two hours of work are needed from each member monthly outside of the meeting time.  In addition each member will act as a shadow planner then a lead planner for one program.  During the month the member is a lead planner they  can expect up to six hours of time needed that month.
Desired Skills: Event planning (program content and logistics), verbal and written communication, sending emails, creative talents (design, performance, etc.), event support, sending emails, telephone calls, site visits.

CMP Study Group

Responsibilities:  The CMP Study Group Committee is a sub committee that works along with the Education Committee.  It is responsible for launching our CMP Study Group Program for the Indiana Chapter in 2012.  This committee will work to find the appropriate format, content, facilitators and venues for this program.
Desired Skills: Event planning (program content and logistics), verbal and written communication, sending emails, creative talents (design, performance, etc.), event support, sending emails, telephone calls, site visits.

Responsibilities: Serve as communicators and liaisons to IMPI committees ensuring that the membership stays informed about current and upcoming chapter business and that all communication meets chapter and international guidelines. The committee also manages the chapter's reputation online and in print media.
Time Commitment: Up to 4 hours monthly, to include committee meetings and independent work
Desired Skills: Written and verbal communication

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Responsibilities: Assist with marketing and promoting for each service project and participate in some facet of each service project.
Time Commitment: An hour a month
Desired Skills: Social skills, wanting to make an Impact on society

Advocacy

Responsibilities: Coordinate logisitics and content for the IMPI Legislative Awareness Day to be held during the legislative session.
Time Commitment: Up to four hours a month.  Most of the committee's efforts will be focused from December to May.

Corporate Fundraising
